Limited mobility
as well as diaper changes in people who have no control over physiological needs.
Oasis Silka SM accepts users who need different levels of support, independent, semi-independent or completely dependent on other people’s help, regardless of the disease. Upon receipt of the request for accommodation in the home, the expert team consisting of the director, social worker and head nurse, assesses the current situation and needs of users and depending on the needs of users, a decision is made on admission to the home for the elderly. at the moment we can respond to user needs.
We provide accommodation and medical care services to the elderly and adults who, due to limited physical, intellectual or mental abilities, have difficulty living independently and taking care of themselves and their needs.
The most important precondition for quality protection of the elderly is the maintenance of hygiene, and all employees respect these procedures. Care and personal hygiene refers not only to the morning and evening rituals of washing, brushing teeth, shaving and combing, but also to regular bathing of the elderly, nail care, haircuts and even feeding.
Special attention is paid to immobile persons, both in terms of changing the clothes of users who cannot do it themselves, and changing diapers for people who have no control over physiological needs.
An example of the case of some of
our users
An 83-year-old patient.
Her husband passed away ten years ago. She complains of weakness, which makes it impossible for her to perform the activities of everyday life. It is very difficult to walk. He complains of back pain, when he can’t walk (he goes hunched over), he gets tired quickly. When she lies down nothing hurts her. She last left the apartment 2 years ago. She had fainted because of which she fell. Last time 1 year ago. She states that she ate very poorly at that time (drop in sugar).
A year ago, she experienced an intense stressful situation, when her dog, with whom she lived for 17 years, passed away, and she was tied up. Before that, it functioned normally. After that, she “relaxed” and let go. She was a clerk and retired with 40 years of service.
